So we decided to go to plan A, (the plan that was not implemented) which is to PAINT them mugs!

Bought some brushes, glass paint, markers etc.

The blue canvas is for another project hehehe.

So cantik she literally put my A- in pendidikan seni dalam longkang.

We received an application for an extra artist.. so kami buat hands-on interview to see whether the candidate can draw or not.

He’s got style. But his drawings ah.. fail.

I told mum I bought custom-drawn mugs like these online for RM30 laidat and I thought that was cheap, or at least reasonable lah. If we sell these for RM20 each, boleh jadi businessman kaya dow. Any interested buyers out there? My mom is temporarily a single mom since dad is working in Liberia for a couple of months. She’s got plenty of free time hehe.

And if you’re lucky, someone will reveal this. When they suddenly say something like, “HAHA so happening ah the other group. This group so quiet one.” And then you ask “What other group?” and then someone will just reply “hahaha” and leave your question unanswered.

They make phone calls and ignore you.

Someone will be talking to another friend. And then they mention your fiance’s name.. “Ifran this, Ifran that.. bla bla bla.. haha.. giggle giggle..” and they you ask her “Oi why are you talking about Ifran?” and then *krikk krikk krikkkk buat tak layan and continue giggling on the phone like I never existed* Or like I don’t know who’s Ifran laa pendek kata.

They come to Cyberjaya and not tell you.

You come to work. Then you see a familiar pink Myvi parked outside the guard post. Then you see a familiar girl almost getting out of the car. Almost lah. Then that girl saw you passing by the guard post. So the girl quickly tutup pintu and berdoa I didn’t see them. I was like fineee. Never tell me you come all the way from Kuantan laa. Fineee.

They ask you to take the bus and train just to come to Sunway.

It took me almost 2 hours ok 2 hours via public transportation. But it’s okay. I need to find find sexy lingerie for my honeymoon. So okay lah, 2 hours is nothing what compared to Ifran going crazy over me. So demi sepasang baju tidur seksi, kugigihi jua.

They ask you to find them instead of they finding you.

Someone wants something from me and I have it with me. According to adat adat sopan ketimuran kita, that someone should come to us to pick up the thing kan. But noooo, I must go to them and pass the barang instead. I was complaining non-stop whyy la do I have to walk so far to pass him the barang. Whyyy la must see him now why can’t buy lingerie first. Whyyy la this whyy la that.

All my back-stabbing friends were there :’) Including Ifran. So hebat these people, can force him to join. Ifran is so geeky he loves to spend his time with his PC games more than with human beings. So hebat, can pull-off a surprise party only via whatsapp.. hehe.

I was too surprised I didn’t know how to react. They thought I will cry. Nahhh mana ada cry. Mak kan tough. Cry sikit je masa nyanyi lagu Because You Loved me. Since I was feeling all loved bagai kan that time. Hilang segala sentap sentap kena ignore sebelum ni.

Aaaaaa stickers da sampaii. Nyesal lak tak wat color2 at least beige or off-white. White dia mmg putih kapur la plakk. Mugs mek cam putih ceramic tu. Pastu since bontot mug tu kecik, sticker jadi kedut2. Kualiti sticker memang kemas, tebal. Kalau guna utk tempek kat buku or paperbag ke ape mesti cun. Tapi sebab tempek kat mug mcm kurang sesuai. Did a quick shopping yesterday at Mydin Presint 14 and grabbed some stuff which I like but are expensive elsewhere and since I’m so kedekut laidat, I usually end up not buying them.

I’ve wanted to buy an air freshener since my room smells of new furniture and newly-painted room. Masam dow. When I went to MESRA shop kat Petronas,this thing was priced at RM18.90 OKKK! Bloody expensive. Boleh beli 5 spender sedap kat Kamdar okkk. Maka idok le kawe meli nye.

So semalam masa pergi ke Mydin, I saw this thing first sebab depa letak dekat ngan enrance. Macam tau tau aje mek perlukan mendalah ini. Ambi Pur Thai Dragon Fruit sedap gilaaaa terus mek tak try bau lain dah. Sambar terus.

So I bought another air freshener sebab this one memang mek suka sejak bau kaklong Ifran guna dulu. Tapi yelah, kedekut, maka tak beli beli lah.

Ifran gives me the freedom (tanggungjawab) to pick our honeymoon spot. The wedding theme. The color of our wedding costumes etc. Cos well, they’re such petty things for him, he ain’t got time to think about those things yaww.

I loooooooooove it when I get to pick our honeymoon spot. Ifran just gave me his budget. Nyeh, that’s all I need anyway. And google of course. Well I initially wanted to go somewhere cool, and dry. But Mr. Fussy wants to go to an island. Any island. Nasib baik aje aku tak book gi Pulau Melaka. kanggg ada kanggg mandi laut selat melaka sambil tengok sunset tepi Masjid Pulau Melaka dan solat berjemaah di mesjid setiap waktu kangg.. Islamik gittew..

My criteria was, I is want at least a jacuzzi in the room, and nak sgt sgt a kitchen konon konon nak main masak masak (dan main.. eh?), and nak facing the ocean, open space. Tak nak bilik indoor sebelah menyebelah tu. Nanti nak buat bising bilik sebelah dengar pulak hikhikhik #GelakGatal

So aaanyway, I’ve shortlisted 4 hotels, created proposals lengkap with price, pictures, etc. and sent them to Ifran for his royal highness to choose.

This one was one of our favvv. 180 degrees ocean view okayyy.  1 floor 1 unit onlyy. The whole resort itself ada 8 units ONLY! Nak sangat privacy hamekkk kau 8 couples saje kat resort. Daily breakfast in bed will be served. Jacuzzi facing the ocean T.T

Cons: No kitchen!

Ifran saw the first picture and he fell in love with this place instantly. This one is a one bedroom villa. Private pool. Outdoor living hall for media playing. Has kitchen (I think)! Tembok tinggi, total privacy!

This hotel’s facilities, for me, are awesome. They have awesome-looking gym (not that I’m gonna visit ‘em anyway), in-house movie theater! Spa, personal computer in EVERY room. With free internet. Still, not that I’m gonna use them much. Mesti la busy kan kan hikhik. Anddd, they have a kitchen hehe.

Cons: Price tak berbaloi for the room. Ada connecting rooms kiri kanan. Laut jauh.

Cons: jauh dari laut. Dalam hutan.

Selepas kalkulasi bajet dan pros and cons, we’ve made our decision.

Aside from the door-gifts my mom and mama Ifran bought for the guests, Ifran and I bought about 200 pieces of mugs for friends/colleagues as wedding favors too. They’re all white in color on the outside with different inner colors. So you can imagine la how kosong they look.

So I decided to find some stickers to be printed and tempek on the mugs.

Googled some frames, edited using Paint during office hours (bad employee here) and voila! My wedding mugs sticker hehe.

Imagemagic.com.my is so convenient, you don’t have to email them for price quotations. They have an online calculator. And you can pay online too! Credit cards, debit cards, bankcards, Paypal, semua boleh!

See how easy? Choose the size, quantity, color, shape etc. Upload your design. Settle. Processing time for stickers is only 2 days. Super awesome since I really need those stickers a.s.a.p. I rugi a bit though since my design is B&W saje while the price is the same for full color printing (4 colors). Sooo rugi but I don’t want my sticker to be ala diwali. It’s enough that I work with Indians now hehe.

Made the order and payment on Monday night, got a call from their rep on Tuesday morning to proceed with printing, another call on Tuesday evening saying the printing guy screwed up and printed Matte Lamination instead of Gloss Lamination like I asked for. She asked whether it was fine or do I want them to re-print. I said OK je since I was considering both types pun initially. Nampak gaya mungkin ini adalah petanda, supaya I use matte lamination haha.

Rep girl said she’ll courier it to me today so tomorrow should be here already lah, hopefully :)

For us, when you’re not trying to find a job, you don’t have your priorities set right. If you’re in a relationship, the girls will expect you to work your ass off and cari duit to take care of her, feed her food and buy her handbags. It doesn’t matter if your job isn’t that good. But your effort, your determination, you commitment is what matters. If you’re committed to your job, to have your priorities right, we women would automatically think that you’re a reliable person. How can we rely on someone who still collects money to buy a guitar when he he should buy a house instead?

A girl’s ideal priority list that a man should have may look like this:

Hargailah insan tersayang.

Reminiscing 2011 too makes me teary. So many things had happened. Fell in love, out of love, got into a super big fight with a good friend, got employed, travelled to new places, got engaged, moved to a new house and for the first time not having any achi, gardener, driver, jaga etc. So mengada I know. Being the family of a planter has its perks.

Just thinking about 2012 makes me filled with mixed emotions. I feel scared, nervous, anxious, excited, happy and upset altogether. Stepping into married life is something big for me, even if its 4, 5 years from now, it will still be big. Can I take care of the husband? Will he take care of me? Will we live happily ever after? Will he let me hang out with my girls still? Will he make me cry? Will he forget to appreciate me? Things like that. So many questions that I hope I have the answers to.

I’m so nervous of giving my whole life to someone. Don’t love someone too much, I keep telling myself. I’ve seen the damage done when you give everything to someone and leave none for yourself. But who am I kidding? Its the man of your life, the husband. He will be my everything.

So to 2012, please be nice to us. To my future husband, please don’t hurt me.. I’ll do the same for you.. to Atiqa, I will miss you the most.. I wish we have more time to sleep together and share our hopes and dreams while waiting to doze off.. I hope I’ll always be your favorite girl.

Goodbye 2011 and hello 2012. I’ve been waiting for you :)
