Remember the stickers that I planned to stick on my wedding mugs? Well mommy thought they were ugly and asked me to buy plastic stickers instead. So I asked for price quotations from some printing shops. Most of them charge about RM300 for 200-500 pieces of stickers. Nahhh too expensive.
So we decided to go to plan A, (the plan that was not implemented) which is to PAINT them mugs!
Bought some brushes, glass paint, markers etc.

The blue canvas is for another project hehehe.
Mommy was in charge of the name writing. I was responsible to draw heart shapes. Mom wrote so fast. By the time she finished with 10 mugs I was only half-way with mine.
Working on the mugs is so fun I tell you. Like going to kindergarden again. We experimented with different doodlings for the first 20 mugs and if you happen to get mugs with 5-year-olds drawings.. that would be specially made by me, with love of course.
Only the first few mugs have different customized paintings.. the rest we be produced using heart shapes and the black&red square box frame sahaje since those designs are less time-consuming. You’ll be the lucky 10 or so if you get these customized patterns :)
Yup yup. Those type of beautiful paitings are mine. Mommy’s ones are.. well I bet sekali tengok nanti you’ll straight away know..
*nangis 5 minit*
So cantik she literally put my A- in pendidikan seni dalam longkang.
We received an application for an extra artist.. so kami buat hands-on interview to see whether the candidate can draw or not.
He’s got style. But his drawings ah.. fail.
I told mum I bought custom-drawn mugs like these online for RM30 laidat and I thought that was cheap, or at least reasonable lah. If we sell these for RM20 each, boleh jadi businessman kaya dow. Any interested buyers out there? My mom is temporarily a single mom since dad is working in Liberia for a couple of months. She’s got plenty of free time hehe.
